this is a first

this is a first for me. today is really only the first day i have even given thought to the idea of having a blog, so this should be a interesting journey. i hope to be able to use this as a tool for my family and friends to be able to stay closer to me and know what is going on here in the life of my wife and i. i will post pictures and thoughts here as they come to me and there will be space for readers to leave comments as they care to. i can also be contacted by email with ideas and so forth.
